Winslow Infrastructure expanded the Melbourne Airport Business Park and enabled the development of the Rohlig Warehouse at 34 Operations Road.

This Project involved the construction of new stormwater drainage, 1800mm diameter EKOpipes, pavement construction, sewer and water reticulation works, and other electrical, public lighting and communication works.

Key Achievements

Sustainability: The team installed EKOpipes for all stormwater drainage, which resulted in a 50% reduction in CO2, and exceedance of Australian Government 2030 emissions reduction targets.

Program: The Project was delivered safely and on time, enabling the warehouse to complete its connection and become operational. 

Safety: The team excelled in safely excavating around live high voltage communications and water connections to airfields and airplane hangars.

Sustainability: green concrete was used to construct new shared use paths and driveways and recycled crushed work was used across the entire site in all works.

Stakeholder engagement: The team maintained access during construction for a number of adjacent builders, and worked closely with businesses and factories to maintain operations during impactful works.
